Warm Pockets

My kids love hot pockets and I love the convenience of a quick lunch.  I don’t love the price or the questionable ingredients in the store bought freezer variety.  I determined to make my own wrap style lunch sandwiches.   I started with the pepperoni version and then decided to make some ham and cheese while I was at it.  I made 30 wraps in 30 minutes (including shredding the cheese and loading the dishwasher!)   I estimate it cost me $8.50 for the ingredients, which comes out to $ .28 each compared with $ .90 from the freezer isle.

Warm Pockets (Sandwich wraps)

Pepperoni Pizza:
flour tortilla shells
pizza sauce
mozzarella cheese shredded
pepperoni slices

Ham and Cheese:
flour tortilla shells
mayo/mustard
ham luncheon meat slices
shredded cheddar cheese

Fill the tortilla shells with ingredients.  Fold on end under and then roll the shell.  Place on a baking sheet and freeze.  When they are frozen, remove them from the tray and store in a freezer bag.  When ready to serve, microwave on a paper towel for 30 seconds or until warm through.

Reindeer Noses

I'm always needing free printables and couldn't find one for a Reindeer Noses Treat bag. So, I made one. Help yourself. The kids will be sure to enjoy this at Levi's pre K party!
Here is the link to the FREE PRINTABLE:
Use a sandwich size zipper bag. Fill with whoppers or other brown round candy and one red gumball for Rudolph. Fold the printable in half. Staple over bag at both ends.
